JORO was founded by brothers Joel (“Jo”) and Roland (“Ro”) to bring people together through bold flavor, music, and culture. Rooted in their Liberian heritage and years of hospitality experience, they created a space that blends soulful West African dishes, handcrafted cocktails, live music, and local art.

From the food to the vibe, every detail reflects their shared vision of community, creativity, and connection.

Whether you're here for a meal, a show, or a private event, JoRo is a place to feel at home — and inspired.

From the menu to the music, we keep the tone consistent and intentional, giving you a taste of JoRo’s voice: soulful, welcoming, and unapologetically real.

ABOUT JORO

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Nothing Lasts

At JORO, we honor the moment.

Every dish, every note of music, every night — it’s a fleeting experience meant to be savored. We believe in making each visit count, because what’s here today may be reimagined tomorrow. That’s the beauty of a space that’s always alive and evolving.

Nothing is Finished

We’re always building, learning, and growing.

From the rotating local art on our walls to the way we experiment in the kitchen and behind the bar, JORO is never static. We stay rooted in heritage but open to change — because creativity doesn’t clock out.

Nothing is Perfect

We don’t aim for flawless — we aim for real.

Every flavor has history. Every note has soul. What we offer is heartfelt, handcrafted, and full of intention — not perfection. That’s what makes it unforgettable.
